Remodeling Demolition

Prior to fabricating and installing your stone, we have to make sure that it is prepped and ready for application. Granite and Marble Designs offers demolition for home remodeling projects by tearing out any existing materials, whether countertops, shower tiling, or vanities, in order to prepare for install. Every project is unique, so we will work with clients and homeowners to make any arrangements necessary prior to on-site demolition.

Demolition Services

Granite and Quartz Fabrication

The fabrication process is meticulous, precise, laborious and time consuming. During fabrication, our fabricators take exact measurements using laser technology to create a printed out template of your project. We then use our state-of-the-art CNC machinery to intricately cut the stone as smoothly as possible. We line up the stone veining and edges to where seams are not visible to the naked eye. This is where your stone will be given its textured finish and edge profiling of your choosing. Stone is the most vulnerable during this stage, but Granite and Marble Designs’ team of fabricators are more than qualified to successfully fabricate your stone.

Stone Installation

During installation, we take careful measures to protect the work environment. Then, we start the installation of the stone. During installation, we make leveling adjustments, if necessary, to ensure the stone is level or plumb to industry standards, mount sinks, drill faucet holes, cut out for appliances and/or accessories. Then with seams, we use the best methods and glues in the industry to ensure the stone stays together for the long haul. Finally, we seal the stone with a protective sealant to safeguard it from harmful foods and products that might penetrate and damage your stone. We take every precaution to ensure that the stone is safely secured following stone-installation guidelines. A successful install is important if you want your stone surface to perform to standards and last a lifetime.
