Open communication is part of the job. Most homes don’t have perfect walls, so our stone installers may need to cut the stone to adjust for uneven surfaces.

What we install
We install kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, shower and tub surrounds, bar tops, fireplace surrounds and outdoor kitchens, for homeowners, contractors, designers and commercial builders across Colorado. Over the years we have installed hundreds of stone applications in bathrooms, kitchens, restaurants and hotels in Denver and the surrounding areas. Our stone installers know how to install and handle every natural stone countertop and engineered material we carry, and each comes in many colors and finishes:

Each one handles differently. Limestone, soapstone and especially marble can break if they’re mishandled, and quartzite is slow to cut. Even though the installation process is the same, the handling of each stone is different, and you only learn those details through years of experience. Countertop replacement and demolition
Replacing old countertops? We’ll remove the existing tops, backsplash or vanity before your install so there’s no gap in the schedule. If we’re replacing laminate, we make sure the surface underneath is clean and level before the new stone goes down. See demolition.
Our countertop fabrication and installation process
1. Design consult and estimate
Every job starts with a free estimate and a conversation about material, edge and finish. Bring plans or cabinet sizes to the showroom if you have them.
2. Templating
Once cabinets are installed and your sink, faucet and appliances are on-site, we laser-measure the space and build a digital template. Most homes don’t have perfectly square walls, and the template picks up every out-of-square corner. The template is an exact replica of your stone design and marks every cutout for sinks, cooktops and fixtures. We reference it through every phase: design, fabrication and installation, and our installers print it out on install day to place each piece precisely.
3. Slab layout and sign-off
Your slabs are photographed and the template is laid over them, so you can see where the veining runs and where the seams land. You or your representative sign off before we cut.
4. Fabrication
Cutting happens on CNC equipment in our Denver shop, where your edge profile is shaped too. This usually takes up to about a week after you approve the template. See stone fabrication.
5. Transportation
Stone is most vulnerable on the way to your house. Company trucks with straight-edge supports keep slabs from flexing and cracking in transit.
6. Fitting and install
We set the slabs, level them with leveling devices and make adjustments. Sometimes stone has to be trimmed on-site, down to a fraction of an inch, for a snug fit. We line up the veining across seams so the counters read as one piece, then bond the seams with high-quality, color-matched epoxy. We take the time to make the seams as invisible as possible, a detail many other installers skip.
7. Final touches
Natural stone gets sealed and the surface is cleaned and polished. That way your stone keeps its beauty for years. Then we clean up after ourselves, with no leftover debris. Before we leave, we need you or your representative on-site to sign off on the finished install.
